    Thanksgiving Thankful Tree

    Every year our family likes to reflect on what we are thankful for. I think it’s a good way to get the boys to think about all we have and how much we are blessed. We usually do a Thanksgiving Paper Chain¬†and have even done a Thankful Jar but this year, I wanted to do something different…something bigger. A big Thankful Tree was perfect.     Great Grads {Congratulations Graduate Card}

    This year there were so many graduates that we know and love, so I wanted to make something special for them. Thankfully, I’m back to making cards now that I have a dedicated space for it. I didn’t realize how much I missed being able to sit down and make something beautiful out of paper! It’s a nice escape for me. This card was inspired by a card I found on Splitcoaststampers. You can see the original here. I used the “Great Grads” Stampin’ Up set and made my own glitter paper with glitter embossing powder. It’s a simple card, and I love the sparkle!

Little Man takes down the circle from the previous day as we countdown to the due date (they’re attached with a glue that removes easily). Before we know it, there won’t be any circles left. We’re so excited for this baby to arrive!…

Mine was probably about 3/4 of an inch at the widest point and approximately 2 inches long.   Cut lots and lots of petals.   Take one petal and a toothpick…   …and wrap the petal tightly around the toothpick.   Now take…
